Sasha Grey vs. Howard Stern
Pornstar vs. Vulgar Radio Jock: Round 1

If you don’t know about pornstar/political activist/actress/brainiac Sasha Grey, it’s worth your time to Google her. Go research some of her work and decide whether she’s worth the trouble she is causing. Besides being called the dirtiest girl in porn, she’s getting into a war of words with the dirtiest voice on the airways, Howard Stern.

Grey, who is from Sacramento, is a well-decorated pornstar vet. As a rising star, Grey also appeared on the Tyra Banks show, made an appearance in the film Quit and will star in The Girlfriend Experience, directed by Academy-Award winning Steven Soderbergh. Critics give her performance praise, but radio-jock icon Howard Stern isn’t the feeling the sultry starlet.

Last week, in a Rolling Stones interview, she stated that she wanted to go on his show draped in a Palestinian flag and called him a closet racist. She later said that she was only joking and that it was an attempt at “self-deprecation”. Yes, she uses words like that. However, Vanessa Grigoriadis, who reported the story, said her mannerisms didn’t make it look like she was joking. Joking or not, she got Stern’s undivided attention, which was previously denied. He said that he passed on her as a guest for his show because he doesn’t know anything about her. Once he found out about the Rolling Stones interview, he said he was insulted that a porn star would call him out as a racist, or try to school him about being politically correct. He candidly added:

Thank God I didn’t get started with her.’ That’s just what I would need. I’m here to do a radio show, entertain people, make them laugh; this broad has got some sort of agenda. What a genius, I’m going to sit there and listen to this. Please. Just tell me how far you can swallow a hot dog. That’s what I want to know. I mean, really. How dare you?

It’s worth taking note that Grey did win an award for Best Oral Scene in 2008, so she probably could speak quite eloquently about that hot dog. He went on to say how he doesn’t want to hear a porn star try to prove how intelligent she is and that her porn is a political statement. Stern’s comments are amusing, yet how much can he say that hasn’t been said already.
