“I don’t want to wait...for a Dawson Creek’s reunion."
Katie Holmes, after discussing her latest film Jack & Jill, recently told Good Morning America that she wouldn’t mind getting together with her Creek-mates for a reunion: “It would be fun. I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories.”
After ending eight years ago, Holmes famously played Joey Potter, the tomboy who was always torn between childhood best friend, Dawson Leery (James van der Beek) and his best friend, Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson). Michelle Williams also played Jen Lindley, Dawson’s next door neighbor. The WB drama show lasted from 1998-2003.
Williams also has stated she’d be glad to have a reunion for the hit TV series that gave her a boost in her career. “My God, it was a blessing in so many ways and continues to be,” the actress excitedly tells, “It lifted me out of Los Angeles and placed me until I was 22 in a sleepy Southern town. It was the best acting class learning to hit your mark, absorb your lines. I feel indebted to it, and if there was ever a reunion show, sign me up.”
Now all we need is Joshua Jackson and James van der Beek to hop on board and we’re all set!
