You Know You Love Me, uh, Well at Least Some of You do
Fate of controversial new "Gossip Girl" episode up in the air

It's the moment every "Gossip Girl" fan has been waiting for-- the highly anticipated threesome episode which will air this Monday; that is unless the Parents Television Council gets its way.

The PTC has threatened CW network affiliates to censor the "reckless and irresponsible scene," or they could face hefty fines from the Federal Communications Commission.

An angry letter sent to the CW from the Council states, "Gossip Girl routinely depicts teenage characters engaging in promiscuous and consequence-free sexual behavior, and that's bad enough. But will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films? Behaviors that not only increase health risks, but which are emotionally and psychologically damaging to participants, as well? I certainly hope not, and I'm sure members of your community and parents of children who watch your network expect more of you."

The PTC has not yet seen the episode, titled "They Shoot Humphrey's, Don't They?" and details of the scene in question are still unknown, but the CW has confirmed "that the Nov. 9 show will end with three characters in a tryst," and that "flashbacks from their menage-a-OMG will air in future episodes."

This is not the first time the hit series has been challenged by the PTC.  The council deemed the show "mind-blowingly inappropriate" after its racy OMFG ad campaign for the shows second season.

Make sure to check out the episode when (if?) it premieres on November 9th, and check out the promo below.
