Zoe Saldana is the first covergirl for Cosmos' newest project, a Latin magazine geared towards English-speaking Latinas, which will hit newsstands on May 1st. The beautiful Saldana opened up to the mag about her proud Latin culture. "People think of Latina women as being fiery and fierce, which is usually true. But I think the quality that so many Latinas possess is strength. I'm very proud to have Latin blood," she told the magazine.

The 33-year-old actress is currently filming the sequel to Star-Trek and even opened up about her personal experiences as a dancer. She explains how she had to quit ballet because she felt she was "dying inside." A teenager at the time, she often felt she needed and outlet other than dance to express herself, so she moved to another outlet which would let her use her voice through acting.
