Run This Town For A Cause
This Spring, get outside and get moving for two great charities.

Giving new meaning to the idea that running is good for your heart, these two upcoming charity runs provide a great workout, and a chance to raise funds for a worthwhile cause. On your mark, get set, give!

Concern Worldwide’s 14th Annual Spring Run  (concernusa.org)

Did you know that half of all children in Haiti cannot afford to attend school? Join Concern Worldwide in supporting children's education in Haiti at this 4-mile run/walk open to all fitness levels. The $25 registration fee alone is enough to provide one child a school uniform or four classrooms with a month's worth of supplies -- imagine the impact your run could have! You can register as an individual or group, with special opportunities for local pubs and schools to form teams.

Date and time: Saturday, April 14th at 9:30am

Location: Central Park, NYC

2nd Roosevelt Island 5K Run/Walk Benefiting the Icla De Silva Foundation  (icla.org)

Participants in the 5K run/walk will enjoy breathtaking views of the East River and a post-race award ceremony and celebration. Register here.

Date and time: Saturday, May 5th at 9:00am
