On Wednesday, June 27^th get ready for the ultimate shopping for a cause event hosted by Henri Bendel and Same Sky founder, Francine Lefrak. The event will be taking place at Henri Bendel’s 5^th Ave store location where guests will be able to shop new arrivals at the store as well as Same Sky Jewelry. If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, Same Sky is a trade-not-aid jewelry initiative where the artisans are African women who have HIV/AIDs. These women have been taught to make one-of-a-kind, hand-made crochet necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories, and with this, are provided with a fantastic platform to market their products globally. 

At the event, Same Sky will be debuting their latest summer and resort collections including their new fabric wrap bracelets ($30-$40), Prosperity Seed Bead Bracelets ($60-$95), their signature line of hand-blown glass beaded bracelets and necklaces ($160-$400) and their newest Hope Necklace and Unity bracelets collections. In addition to these accessories, they’ve got things for the men too! Same Sky’s newest hand crocheted cuff link collection will also be presented at the event.

All of their collections contain beautifully crafted and meticulous work. They’ve made a success among the celebrity scene thus far as a-listers like Meryl Streep, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, and Jessica Alba (among many others) have been seen wearing these accessories. With 100% of all net-proceeds from sales at the event going to employing more artisans, take the opportunity to shop through the beautiful designs and give back to a great cause!
