We all want to help out in a charitable way, but with the hustle and bustle of our own lives, giving to a cause can seem like an extra burden.  But it’s easier than you think; it could be a donation, an hour a day, or even just a simple click on your mouse.  Then poof! For that one second the world is a better place because you cared enough to help.

You can always take the easy old fashion route by making a cash donation.  Even if it’s dropping a few bucks in the jar at your local convenience store, you’re still helping some cause.

Don’t have the extra cash lying around? Well do not fret- your time is free! Living close to a metropolitan area there are hundreds of charities and non-profits looking for volunteers. Instead of bumming around Sunday, why not find a soup kitchen in your area or a clothing drive that needs some extra hands?

If you own your own business set up a day where a portion of your sales go to a charity.  Yes, times are tough and you need all you can get, however, charity events at a store always bring in extra business. And people will usually come back after they know you're a business with a heart!

Have the time and ideas? You can always organize your own charity event.  Hold it at your favorite bar with a drink special or set up a raffle, auction, or fashion show. The ideas are limitless when you’re doing it for a good reason.

Have a cause that is dear to your heart? The internet is the best way to raise funds and donations for it.  Contact a well known organization that is affiliated with your cause and ask them for help on building a website that you can run from home.
