What happened to the days when you could just be? Without all the buzzing, notifications and reminders? In the modern world of technology, no one is ever truly unavailable. Gone are the days where you could disappear or blow someone off because you "had no way of getting in contact" with them. Yes, there is officially no excuse anymore. Now that we all have cell phones and literally an app for EVERYTHING, excuses are slim and far-fetched. Especially when it comes to dating.

In addition to the expected social media apps (Facebook, Myspace etc.) all the popular dating sites now have their own apps. Personally, I've never used online dating (not that there's anything wrong with it! I just live in New York City and there's no shortage of men here) but I can only imagine adding dating apps to the mix will make one's love life more complicated. Solely because it's more pressure to always be available!  Then again, maybe people enjoy the constant availability. Who knows?
