We know, Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” is everywhere. It’s on the radio, TV, and on rotation in just about every hip clothing store’s music playlist. The internet’s no help. There are Gotye parodies lurking around just about every corner. Some are great and some are...Well, we’ve gone through a lot of parodies to bring you the one featured today, and we have suffered for it. Let’s face it, the song is relatable and really catchy.

 

 

 

Today we’re bringing you a parody from the masters of humor over at TeddieFilms. Their Youtube videos usually hit the humor sweet spot, but their “Somebody I Used To Know” parody not only brings that extra attention to detail, it sums up the problems Star Wars fans have had with the prequel films really well. These artist know their Star Wars history. In fact, this isn’t even the first Star Wars video they’ve done.

Not only does the parody hit home, but it gets the Gotye feel down with expert precision. Starring in place of Gotye is, appropriately enough, a young Anakin Skywalker and a special guest star we won’t reveal just yet. Check out the video below to find out!
