The tea parlor will be creating a new box with collaborators each month for the remainder of 2012. On March 1st, Ladurée’s collaboration with Paris-based, Japanese designer Tsumori Chisato will be available in their stores around the world. The March box will tie together Japanese culture as well as the art of French pastries with a cherry blossom-themed macaron. The cherry blossom-pink macarons will be filled with a light cherry ganache.
Can’t get to France by the end of the month? Don’t fret mon cher amie! The March box will also be available in the only stateside Ladurée Tea Parlor on Manhattan’s Upper East Side (834 Madison Avenue). While checking out March’s limited supply of cherry blossom-inspired macaronage, try some of Ladurée other delightful flavors such as pink grapefruit combined with vanilla, caramel with salted butter, or pistachio. Still can’t get enough? A limited-edition cherry blossom candle will be for sale also so you can enjoy your macaron experience long after you’ve polish off the box.
