Tri-State BBQ Festival

April 13 Dothan, Alabama

From 5pm to 10pm on April 13th, the 7th annual Tri-State BBQ Festival will be hosting a BBQ Bash Yard Party at the Houston County Farm Center in Dothan. This event will be held to benefit the Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 program. 

The BopCats will be playing at the Yard Party with opening act Kristan Mikala, one of Dothan's local talent. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Music under the stars, good food, friends and neighbors- sounds like all the ingredients you need for a fun festival. Advance tickets are $5 until March 31st, or pay $10 at the entrance.

The 22nd annual Great Taste of the Grove Food and Wine Festival, is back and just around the corner. Come spoil yourself as this tradition continues to be one of Florida's top events that bring together some of Miami's residents and tourists for an epic food and beverage fiesta. This festival partners with ECOMB to maintain their commitment to sustainability. 

On Saturday April 14th and Sunday April 15th, meet at Peacock Park from 11am to 7pm. The entrance fee is $5 and dishes and refreshments will be sold from $1 to $8. The "Sommelier Tasting Grove" and "Connoisseur Spirits Lounge" are back, and will be providing event-goers with an opportunity of tasting the best alcoholic beverages available.

Austin FOOD & WINE Festival

April 27-29  Austin, Texas

Go to one of our nation's best cities and indulge in some wine and food from the best chefs, top sommeliers and winemakers from across the country at this first time ever food festival. This bon vivant experience will be accompanied by some live music from Lucinda Williams and Mayer Hawthorne & The Country.

There will be over 35 cooking demos, and wine and cocktail seminars, throughout the weekend. Complimentary beer, wine and cocktails will be offered at the VIP or Weekender Lounge. Do you consider yourself a wine aficionado? Do you live near the OC? You can enjoy a "quintessential wine tasting experience" on April 20th to April 21st.

On Friday, experience different expressions of grapes while trying reserve level bottles. Some wines being tasted are no longer available on the market and there will also be a champagne reception. The region's top chefs will serve hot and cold snacks while jazz is being played in the background. More events are scheduled on Saturday the 21st. If you'd like to attend more than one California Wine Festival Event, it is suggested that you buy a multi-event pass.
