Shaking Things Up with Marshall Altier
We go behind the bar with JBird Cocktails' Marshall Altier to learn whether to stir or shake a cocktail!

JBird Cocktails' Marshall Altier, shows us the ropes on what to do and what not do with cocktails during the mixing process. The steps taken to create and make an alcoholic beverage is more than you would think. It takes just as much love and passion to make a drink that will go with your meal or get your night started, as it does to make a dish. The components have to be thought of separately but brought together as a whole, and Altier certainly shows us when it is best to shake and stir our drinks, along with how to stock our bar at home.

Read how you to can make the perfect mix drink blend in Marshall Altier’s book, “How to Booze: Exquisite Cocktails and Unsound Advice.”

Feel free to visit him on the Upper East Side at JBird Cocktails
