Last month at Electric Daisy Carnival, Dirty South dropped his awesome new collaboration with Thomas Gold, "Alive" featuring Kate Elsworth.   With a roaring crowd of nearly 1/4 a million, "Alive" was floorkiller.  Built on the lovely voice of UK singer Kate, the smooth guitar bits prepare the energy for a massive, electro-tinged breakdown.

"Alive" follows Dirty South's acclaimed compilation series, Strictly Dirty South.  In 2010, Dirty South produced the anthemic, Phazing, and branded the Star Phazing Nights club concept.  Nominated for a Grammay for his collaboration with Axwell on a remix of Temper Traps "Sweet Disposition," Dirty South went on to thunder the dance music world in 2011 with Diddy Dirty Money for the hip-house sound of "Coming Home."

While we are wondering what's with people wanting to be dirty, you may be wondering about Thomas Gold.Haven't heard of him?  Stay tuned for an exclusive interview with Germany's rising star next week!

"Alive" will be officially released on August 3rd, and if you didn't get a chance to hear it at Electric Daisy, you can preview it below.
