Liam Gallagher Takes His Beatles Obsession One Step Further.
Though Oasis has broken up, Liam is keeping busy by taking the first few steps to release a Beatles movie.

Liam Gallagher can't get over the fact that they just weren't as good as the Beatles, over the years Oasis has compared themselves and even tried their best to look like them.

Now Liam will try to connect himself with the iconic band through story telling. Gallagher has purchased the cinematic rights to the book The Longest Cocktail Party, which tells behind-the-scenes story of the Beatles' Apple Corporation.

Richard Dilello who wrote the book in 1973, began working for Apple in 1968 and was personally there to document the rise and fall of the record label. The financial struggles are said to aid in the personal friction that was brewing between the famous four.

The film, like the book, will likely focus more on Apple Corps than the Beatles themselves, though the breakup of the band factors largely in the story.

No release date for the film has been announced and it' still unclear what role Liam will play on the film.
