Internationally acclaimed DJ/Producer Richard Durand is well-known for his takes on the In Search of Sunrise album series through Black Hole Recordings. Now the EDM sensation is giving fans the opportunity to potentially have one of their very own tracks included on the North American installment of the worldwide artist album, Richard Durand vs. The World on Black Hole Recordings. The compilation will consist of 5 EPs, one for each continent around the world, respectfully paying homage to electronic dance music on a global scale.

Richard Durand vs. North America will showcase three different songs to represent the region, and here's where YOU fit in! One of the tracks will be composed by Richard Durand alone, another will feature an undisclosed notable North American artist, and the third track will feature the "winning" submission by a fan as voted for by the public!

The contest is currently open and submission deadline approaches on April 23rd. The Richard Durand vs. North America EP will be officially released and available for retail purchase on May 21st, 2012. Contestants must use stems provided by Richard Durand, but beyond that, there’s no limit to the possibilities of one’s imagination. 

Once submission deadlines pass, Richard Durand will select his top favorite candidate tracks and post them to his SoundCloud page for public listening. Fans are encouraged to support fellow producers by leaving comments and voting for their favorite tracks. Once all of the votes are in, Durand will decide which lucky winner from either a producer, a singer, or production team will be featured on the official Richard Durand vs North America EP. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for budding singers, songwriters and/or producers not to be missed! Good luck!
