While many Americans view the months of summer as a chance to vacation, lounge on the beach or relax amongst friends, Kaskade sees the season as prime touring time. For the second summer in a row, Kaskade will spend his days on airplanes and nights in venues as he tours North America.
Arguably one of the hardest working DJs on the EDM scene, Kaskade spends the grand majority of his time straddling studio sessions and concert bookings. Incredibly dedicated and constantly perfecting his craft, Kaskade is always working to give his fans the next big hit, the most epic set, and the experience of a lifetime.
So it should come as no surprise that Kaskade is once again taking his show on the road. But this time around, America’s number one DJ is bringing an even more explosive act than ever before with his “Freaks of Nature” tour - complete with glorious tunes, intricate LED screen production and strobe lighting that puts disco dance-floors to shame.
Kaskade’s tour boasts more than 40 dates across North America, and what better place to start a great American tour than the notoriously-rowdy party city of Las Vegas? Kaskade will spin The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, May 26, presented by Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub. After his kickoff show, Kaskade will continue his popular monthly residency at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub throughout the rest of the summer tour.
The Chelsea ballroom is The Cosmopolitan’s state-of-the-art entertainment venue. The ballroom offers concert-goers spacious standing room, crisp acoustics and a plethora of bars that ensure a vivacious experience for all. The Chelsea has hosted some of Las Vegas’ biggest concerts; most notably the venue’s star-studded grand opening, which featured Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Martin and John Mayer, as well as Deadmau5’ first-ever full live show on The Strip.
Kaskade is sure to make The Chelsea’s walls rattle during his tour debut performance. Considering his world-wide fame in an industry where American DJs got a late start and are still playing catchup, it would be easy to simply brand Kaskade as the face of traditional American house music. But as he has proved time and time again, Kaskade takes American house music to an exponentially elevated level. Bypassing the go-to equation of pairing sexy lyrics with rising riffs, the 41-year-old has spent his last 11 years creating a sound that’s unmistakably original: relatable yet trendsetting, complex yet uplifting. Fans have come to expect the highest quality music from the producer, which Kaskade continues to deliver with his inspiring, soulful lyrics and unforgettable instrumental melodies.
Tickets for Kaskade’s Las Vegas stop are available at www.marqueelasvegas.com, and for the entire tour at http://www.freaksofnaturetour.com/. The show will be open to those 18 and over.
