After Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model Tyra Banks promised us there would be no more "normal" cycles and according to NY Magazine, she has lived up to her word. In an outlandish and what some may even call confusing twist, Cycle 18 of ANTM will be a competition between the United States versus the United Kingdom. For those who have consistently kept up with our favorite runway reality show, you are in for a huge excitement this coming season. Seven American girls will compete against seven British girls for the title of America's Next Top Model, talk about glamorous nationalism!

Tyra, Miss J, and Nigel Barker welcome new judge Kelly Cutrone to the panel this season. As they prepare for the new crop of aspiring models they are sure to have their hands tied. According to an inside source, this season kicks off at Hard Rock Cafe of Los Angeles on a runway that is supported by two giant floats: one the Statue of Liberty, the other Big Ben, of course.

According to NYMag.com, "Brit Nigel Barker rolled up in a Mini Cooper convertible that was painted as the Union Jack. Miss J pulled up in a red and gold Ford Mustang. Next came the float with Big Ben carrying seven British models, followed by the float with The Statue of Liberty, the American models, and a bunch of shirtless guys with American flags and white flags that said "America's Next Top Model."

For those who are currently tuned in to this season of ANTM, featuring popular runner-ups of previous seasons, Ms. Banks has kept many fans on the edge of their seats with more compacted and diverse challenges. With steamy drama and heartfelt tears in every episode, we can only imagine what she has in store for Cycle 18! Joined by new judge, fashion publicist and founder of People's Revolution Kelly Cutrone, these models will have to fight and sweat model and pose their way to the top. We all know how hard a critic Cutrone can be. From the fierce stares, master catwalks, and amazing poses, witnesses say so far the British are already outshining their American counterparts. We say bring it on!
