Alice Temperley + John Lewis

If you’re a fan of fashion from across the pond, (and who isn’t) you’ll be as excited as we are to hear this news. Somerset by Alice Temperley will be debuting this fall for British department store John Lewis. The chic London-based brand’s skyrocketing popularity, thanks to a pair of stylish Middletons and red carpet royalty, has us eager to get the looks for ourselves. Launching September 4th (plus additional partywear in October) the line is infused with signature Temperley style, including influences from feminine lace embellishment to tough military hardware. The 60-piece collection boasts reasonably priced apparel and accessories, like dresses from $160, mixed with luxe options like the $1,600 sheepskin coat. Sneak peeks report “sheer paneled two-tone dresses and beaded Indian evening gowns, studded nappa leather handbags and animal print scarves.” (MarieClaire) Luckily, John Lewis ships internationally—let the countdown to Temperley in our closets begins!

Missoni + Muzungu Sisters

It’s official; Missoni is everywhere we look these days. The brand’s most recent collaboration with Converse topped our spring shopping lists and now to our delight, they’re back with more fabulous footwear. This time more business casual than sporty sneaks, Missoni has partnered with Muzungu Sisters and CB Made In Italy shoes to produce adorable unisex loafers outfitted in signature knits. Muzungu Sisters, who promote handcrafted products from local artisans in global communities, organized the collaboration between the two Italian brands upcycling Missoni fabrics for the project. The collection, available now, comes in three, limited edition styles; two in a black, white, and red color combination and a third in a black and white static pattern. They’re the perfect low maintenance, comfy slip-ons for summer travels. Plus, 10% of proceeds from each pair of luxurious loafers sold goes to Small Steps Project, benefiting poverty-stricken communities in Cambodia and Timor Leste. These shoes are made for walkin’—right off the shelves; get them while they last!

MAC + Carine Roitfeld

We knew Ms. Roitfeld would be up to some interesting new endeavors now that she has a little extra “free time." Following the recent announcement of her Carine-curated publication, its first issue slated for September, a brand new side project is confirmed; a 22-piece, limited edition cosmetic collection in collaboration with MAC. Joining the likes of Ricky Martin, Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga who have all collaborated with the brand, Carine brings her career’s worth of fashion and beauty knowledge to the partnership and we can’t wait to see the finished products. We imagine it’s inspired by the editorial vixen’s trademark sultry style. Perfectly disheveled locks, dark smoky eyes topped with bold, full brows, and a nude lip has become her signature look that we all try to imitate. She’s been in on everything from package design to color palettes and will even be featured in the ad campaign. The line is set to launch this fall—expect a Roitfeld-filled season. We have to say, we’re fans of anything with Carine’s name—or face—on it.
