Glamour has announced their best dressed women of 2012 including 50 A-listers, from socialites, to musicians, to actresses and models. All were handpicked off of the fashion-forward apple tree and given a thumbs up for the attire they have sported so far this year. Some of the women are more obvious choices like Angelina Jolie and Kate Moss; however, Glamour also chose peeps that have made some questionable fashion choices in the public eye. We here at Glam Damn It have a few we’d like to applaud, and other’s that, well, we just keep getting second-hand embarrassment for- as far as their fashion sense goes!
Maybe you agree, maybe you don’t! Either way, consider this our rendition of fashion police for those who are smooth sailing and those running some serious red lights. To view the complete list, see Glamour’s June Issue and take a look for yourself!

We’ve always been Rachel Bilson’s fan and her look in this photo is spot on. She always has a great way of incorporating multiple patterns into one ensemble without making the entire look too crazy or chaotic. We love the use of her floral blouse matched nicely with her coral pants and the leopard print shoes give the outfit a little extra kick. A job well done!

Emma Stone has been making some quick headway into the public eye the past few years. She has been showing her diversity in film with comedic and dramatic performances, as well as her diversity in style. Stone has definitely proved that she can take on all of the colors of the rainbow where she has conquered green, orange, blue and that ruby red. We love the bow detailing at the neck; it’s a risky look that not all women can pull off.

In the June issue, GLAMOUR says: "From Marilyn glamour to boyish suits, Michelle always looks pixie perfect."
Need we say more? She embodies the perfect juxtaposition of sweet and boyish through her blond pixie cut, flirty dresses or sleek suits, and red lips. Williams has definitely found her personal style and always knows exactly how to own her look.

Lady Gaga definitely set the pavement for futuristic and abstract style that many, along with Katy Perry, have followed. However, there’s a fine line between avant-garde and avant-garbage and we know it hurts, but the styles repped by the bubblegum pop singer have had an uncanny resemblance to The Jetsons. We are sorry to convey this message Miss Perry, but Charlie called- the Oompa Loompa’s want their hair back!

GLAMOUR stated: "Flame-haired Flo pulls off both masculine tailoring and ladylike midi dresses alike." After having taken a look at a few of her get-ups through the past year, we’d like to contest this statement. We haven’t been huge on the color choices she’s made. Deep red hair, combined with porcelain skin, builds an oil and vinegar-like repellent when poured in with cold colors- no matter how long you stir for, they just wont mix!
Florence, you’re a hell of a singer and we know your signature look is that fiery red hair, but we much prefer you with bangs to a center part! Consider the revision!

Glamour may think that Kristin is always “effortlessly on-trend” and don’t get us wrong, we agree that the effort isn’t there, however we disagree with her being on-trend. Yes, Stewart has surprised us more recently with elegant ensembles wearing gowns and bodycon dresses; and some could have been pulled off in such a lovely way had she axed the sneakers- but she didn’t. Her style is always a bit disheveled where there’s a continuous pattern of almost getting the look, then right before it’s on, a splash of sloppy hits. We’d like to end on a positive note though by saying that we are hopeful that we’ll see further fashion improvements from Stewart in the future!
