HONOR, the label by NYC-based designer Giovanna Randall, has officially launched their e-commerce site shop.honornyc.com. This marks an exciting time for Randall and her team (not to mention for shoppers!), as her creations, previously available solely at the Gansevoort Street flagship, are now available to the masses and only a mouse-click away.
Randall's beautifully feminine aesthetic and clean silhouettes combine just the right amount of sexy with sophistication, and the fashion world has certainly taken notice of this rising fashion star. The HONOR woman is young, stylish and not afraid to have fun. We're willing to bet she shares many of the same qualities as the designer herself.
"Clothing should make you feel free, free to be anything - you should wear clothes that make you feel like you, and it's totally fine to be one thing one moment then someone else the next," the FIT grad adds on her site. That is something we here at Glam Damn It could not agree with more.
What sets this site apart is that the fact that runway looks from the current season, which may have not been produced, are available for special order; meaning any HONOR design of your fancy can be yours.
A gorgeous short film was also released to commemorate the label's e-commerce launch. Directed by H. Spencer Young, the film offers viewers a captivating glimpse into the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, both backstage as well as in motion on the runway. Models Sophie Monrad, Kate K, and Xiao Wen are shown frolicking on sunny, pebbled beaches between shots of backstage hustle and bustle and the actual runway show, all set to music by Here We Go Magic and Emeralds Debussy.
View the film below and click through the slideshow of our favorite pieces from the HONOR S/S 2012 collection, now available for purchase on their site.
