Holiday Style Tips from George Kotsiopoulos
We chat with the Fashion Police star!

Recently, Joonbug had the opportunity to chat with George Kotsiopoulos. He teamed up with Century 21 Department Stores, which has locations all over in Brooklyn, NYC and NJ to share the inside scoop on must-have holiday gifts for everyone on your list and fashion tips on looking party-ready this holiday season.

George is a well-known magazine editor, fashion consultant, stylist and television personality. Millions of people tune in to watch him as a co-host of Fashion Police on the E! Network. He is currently style editor at large for C magazine and formerly a fashion associate at The New York Times Magazine. JB was curious to hear what his top holiday suggestions are and to also obtain inside style advice. Cutting down on anxiety with helpful shopping tips is always welcome!

George first of all, what are you wearing? You look really pulled together. I'm wearing a designer jacket that I originally purchased as a full suit. I thought the pattern and the material may be a bit over the top to wear as a full suit, so I broke up the pieces and decided to style my look this way. I also had the suit jacket tailored. Men - a great tip is having a reliable tailor that can make alterations to your clothing so they fit perfectly and look custom. I like the mix. I also have on a button-down shirt from H&M -- it's a good style staple and layering piece.

I see a table here with many festive items. What are some of your holiday suggestions this season? There's something for everyone at Century 21 and I enjoy working with them. Even behind us are some great bags for women. There's high-style and value here. One of the items I really like are the Juicy Couture box sets with these stylish gloves. They make a great gift and as always at the C21 discount off retail. For the kids, there are special embellished dresses, fun-festive gloves. Look at these items! I also like the colorful Missoni scarves - all at a great price. It's all in the details.

What are some of your style suggestions for the women of NYC? Many women wear longer cardigans this time of year. Whether it's an open or closed cardigan a thin belt is a great way to accentuate the waist and flatter your shape. Also, get a stylish boot (which are featured in George's hot season style picks). Not only is this bootie super chic—the wedge makes it insanely comfortable!
