The designer of the brand is Vanessa Lee of Los Angeles. She came up with the concept after returning from a trip to Paris, where she was overcome by the alluring way in which Parisian women dressed. Lee decided that American women deserved to wear runway fashions without paying huge designer prices, hence her creation of this affordable, contemporary clothing line.
