Style Fashion Week continued to impress us up until their very last night with an amazing closing show from Furne One.  Shortly after, it was L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios, then an afterparty at Le Posh Salon, and finally ending this very busy (yet fabulous) week was the Missoni and Iman Walk of Style Awards presentation on Rodeo Drive.

The Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award evening, featured a mini show for nine semi-finalists chosen by Fashion Business Inc. (FBI), which according to Moss Adams' Director of Apparel, Martin Hughs, "celebrate the innovative fashions of California." The award was taken home that evening by Nally & Millie.

Post-awards, we left Style Fashion Week and headed to The Colony in Hollywood for a presentation from SoCal blogging superstar, Penelope's Vintage. The line is made from vintage pieces found and re-worked by Penelope. Studs, shoulder pads, and short hemlines dominated the look here, which as vintage-loving fashionistas, we were drooling over. Our faves were a bright red, military-style jacket, with epaulets and a white sequined minidress. Both are stunning throwback looks for a night on the town.

Friday night at Style Fashion Week was opened with a show from Octavio Carlin. The clean, simple lines of his designs are suitable for a wide range of body types and favored by many celebrities like Selena Gomez. The show had a 1930's beach vibe to it, with dropped waists, calf-length hemlines and bows. The models' hair was styled in fingerwaves, giving a very old-school vibe. The final looks consisted of two truly beautiful, black-and-white gowns that would be at home next to a Vionnet gown.

Inspired by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Dubai-import Furne One, closed the night with an over-the top, avant-garde show. The collection had many intricate elements, from detail-oriented craftsmanship, to a truly artistic flair that is often hard to find with independent designers. "Watch out for Furne - we're gonna take over the U.S.!," warned the designer, Alexis. With handfuls of beautiful looks and a standing ovation from the packed house, we have no doubt that Furne One would have any trouble finding a home here.

Saturday night brought Fashion Weekend to Sunset Gower Studios. Swimwear designer Kooey paired classic combinations such as black and white with bright colors and unique cuts. We were especially fond of a stunning purple one-piece with feather-design detailing over the waist.

Kristinit showed delicate, frothy dresses in bright shades and floral patterned accents. Their muted neutral basics were executed well - we loved the beige, menswear-inspired wide leg pant and a one-shoulder half-blue, half-white dress, with a brushed-brass looking belt that cinched the waist perfectly, completing the look.

At Joy Los Angeles, a rock and roll vibe dominated the stage. High heels and big hair amplified the patterns and textures of this "Sunset-Strip-in-its-heyday"-inspired line. Fashion bloggers everywhere are sure to be drooling over the American-flag leggings that sent a murmur through the room when they went down the runway.

On Sunday, Le Posh Salon hosted an afterparty with complimentary manicures and massages for attendees. Mimosas flowed through the room in this calming spa right off Sunset Boulevard, which has private hair and manicure rooms for their celebrity clientele. They even offer a long list of unique spa treatments, such as a 14-head shower bed that you'd have to see to believe. It was the perfect ending to a very busy and extravagant Los Angeles Fashion Week for us at Joonbug!

See you soon in the front row!
