ALDO's vibrant ads shot by Terry Richardson exude the carefree attitude and excitement of a tropical vacation --reminding us of how badly we need one right about now!
French-Canadian model Anais Pouliot of Trump Model Management, has some serious fun in the sun alongside a slew of vacation-y props, from palm trees and totem poles, to over-sized popsicles. And, yes, even a big ol’ pile of bananas! In case there was any doubt, these ALDO ads confirm that it is all about color, color and more color this season. Styled by Sabina Schreder, Pouliot is shown in a variety of bright hues, however not to be outdone by the true stars of the campaign: the shoes!
Bright stiletto pumps, towering platform wedges, lady-like kitten heels, and more casual options like lace-up tennis shoes and raffia slip-ons, all have their moment in the spotlight. Also shown are a pair from the ALDO RISE collection, a new concept for the brand, which collaborates with designers bringing ALDO designs onto the runway and designer looks onto the street. This season’s collaboration features pieces from Canadian-born designer, Mark Fast of Faster by Mark Fast, and his bright pink pump design, a look which was sent down the runway during his S/S 2012 show, is worn by Pouliot as she revels in the sun over an oversized inner tube.
If these images don’t make you want to book an impromptu trip to Miami, we don’t know what will!
