Thankfully, the gods of Balenciaga have answered everyone's prayers: Emanuel Ungaro showed in Paris today sans Lindsay Lohan. For we all know, she was inching her way into someone's design studio, with her atrocious fur coat in tow.
The great news? She wasn't even invited to the Ungaro show. Take that, Ms. Artistic Advisor.
Word on the runway is that Lohan may not have been carrying the title of Artistic Advisor, since as early as last week.
Her contributions to the label have gotten its spring bevy shunned from major department stores and prominent online shopping sites. However, we'll leave the digging of dirt to Nylon, who reported via Twitter:
"So we dug deeper, and realized that (via Lindsay’s twitter!) there’s only one Spring ’10 Ungaro for sale - a white leather jacket with heart sequin cut-outs. It retails for $5000, through Luisa Roma, the Italian luxury store."
As fortunate sad as the situation may be, we're shocked that everyone is shocked by these results. Just look at 6126 - nothing is flying off the shelves over there, girlfriend. That should have been hint number 1, no?
Ungaro's Manhattan store recently hosted a blow-out sale and hasn't been open for business since. But here's the bright side to it all: as giddy as Estrella Archs may have been when she and Lohan took their final bows during the Spring 2010 presentation, Archs pulled it together to show somewhat of a decent bevy for Fall 2010. It may not have been the best, but we all know she needs time and room to recuperate from it all.
