Sofia Coppola and Louis Vuitton have collaborated in the past, but their Resort 2012 collection is a dream wardrobe! This time around, not only did Coppola serve as the muse, but she was involved in every aspect of the design process -bringing her own vision and personal style to the collection.

When consulting on the designs, Sofia said ,"I told [Vuitton design director Julie De Libran] I want a new wardrobe.” And so that's what they gave her. All the designs are based on her favorite colors, shapes and fabrics. All the way down to the Eiffel Tower print which is a homage to her hometown of Paris.

The collection consists of mostly classic shades of blue, red and white; and has pretty much every type of garment available (literally a new wardrobe) from shift dresses and shorts to blazers, skirts and one-pieces. A big aspect (and charm) of this colloboration is the extensive mixing of textures, patterns and color. Vuitton/Coppola Resort 2012 is a dream collection, but did you expect anything less?
