Manly Essentials: 4 Skincare Products Every Guy Should Own
Guys need to take care of their skin too!

If you equate the term "beauty product" with a basic bar of soap, you’re in desperate need of our help. Most men don’t care enough to put together a daily beauty regimen, but those who do tend to not only have the smoothest skin but also the smoothest game. Nothing’s sexier than a well-groomed dude with his beauty act together. To use a rather cliched but completely applicable expression, your face is your moneymaker and you have to take care of it if you expect to receive any dividends. Keeping that in mind, there are a few basic products every guy should be using on an almost daily basis to enhance his natural allure. Whether you’re a total beauty novice or weekly exfoliator check out our beauty products guide for four items you need in your life.

Concealer

A woman’s makeup staple, concealer has bridged the gender divide and now men can take advantage of this ingenious product. Whether you’re a busy college student pulling an all nighter or a Wall Street trader with little time to sleep, concealer can help you avoid those unflattering under eye circles. Even if you do get a full night’s sleep, (tell us your secret, you weirdo) concealer should be a staple in every man’s medicine cabinet as it can cover up anything from a pesky zit to a cut while shaving.  One of the best concealers on the market is the Evolution Man Conceal. Evolution Man is a men’s only beauty brand with a variety of products targeted towards men’s needs. Their range of products includes sunscreen, eye gel, and nail polishes (if you're willing to test out their nail polish check out other extreme trends you might be into).

Moisturizer

Moisturizing should be a standard practice for just about everyone, but sadly this isn’t the case. Moisturizing is an essential part to maintaining healthy, good-looking skin. We know it can be a bit tricky given that practically every single brand has at least 3 kinds of moisturizers ranging from $5 to $50. They’re all pretty much the same, but it might take some testing out before you find one that matches your skin composition. Below we have a few to meet every budget.

Sunscreen

If you do anything at all in the morning, (other than shower, we hope) you should definitively take the time to put on some sunscreen. Protecting your skin is one of the most important aspects of maintaining your overall health and the future of your skin. Girls love a light bronzed tone, but no one digs a sun burnt dude. Below are a few brands in the sunscreen game that you may not have heard of but should definitely know.

Cleanser

Your skin is basically a sponge that absorbs all the dirt and grime around you so it's important to cleanse it of all of that filth. You have two choices to solve this problem: 1) You can be a weirdo and never leave your apartment or 2) You can pick up one of these cleansers and incorporate it into your nightly routine. The latter is our choice, but feel free to decide for yourself.

Clarins Men Active Face Wash: This cleanser helps remove the dirt and pollutants that can accumulate throughout the day and it contains Grindella and Gaultheria (we're not really sure what these are but they sound cool, so it must be good).
