Shoppers brace yourselves for the ultimate collaboration that has finally been concocted as Neiman Marcus’ high-end looks will be combined with Target’s budget-friendly price tags! This holiday season the luxury retailer and the affordable, trendy chain will be partnering up to bring us designs by 24 CFDA members in a limited-edition collection!
Though the collection won’t be sold until December 1st, we think it’s necessary to prepare the countdown much in advance, as the looks are sure to go quick! The prices will be perfect for any budget as the range will start at $8, with much of the collection under $60, and will go up to $500. According to WWD, the word on the street is that the collection will include up to 3 items created by each designer where pieces included will be men’s women’s and children’s clothing, sporting goods, electronic accessories, home décor, and even pressies for the pets, all totaling up to a 50 piece collection.
In an exclusive interview with WWD, Karen Katz, president and chief executive officer of Neiman Marcus Inc. was quoted explaining, “This is kind of ground-breaking. Neiman Marcus and Target share a passion for great design and delighting customers in new and unexpected ways.” And we would have to concur with Katz on both counts- this new collab is both innovative and extremely unexpected- but definitely welcomed with open arms!
The collection will be sold at all of Target store locations (that’s right- all 1,763 of them!) as well as 42 Neiman Marcus stores, and both companies’ webstores.
The designers in the Neiman Marcus and Target collection will include:
