Paris Fashion Week: The Clean Side
Clean, with a touch of glitz.

With dedication to the cleaner side of things during Paris Fashion Week, we've chosen 3 looks that designers showed with less fuss. But, we wouldn't bet their entire bevy spoke in the same volume.

Celine: Phoebe Philo's return to fashion through Céline may ultimately be the best thing since Hedi Slimane at Dior. We love Philo's simplistic approach towards everything contrast. The labels Fall 2010 bevy was a bit fuzzy in material, partnered with contrast colors of navy, black and white. Patent leather-like pockets were dandily placed at the hems of cute, loose frocks and skirts.

Karl Lagerfeld: It's somewhat of a joke to Karl to occasionally show everything black -with very little variation between garments - though we know the blood of Chanel is still brewing in Karl's veins. It's nice to see him struggle through the challenge of trying not to make his namesake bevy look too much like Chanel. Some things were a bit too gaudy for our liking, but we loved the looks of layering simplicity (overly simplistic in Karl's eyes) over extreme - uh, blingy fabrications.

Stella McCartney: There were plenty of lingerie relations at Stella McCartney that we did not care for, but when Stella showed a simple striped cardigan and black trousers, we immediately thought, "that's Stella." In fact, there were a few looks (frocks and coats alike) that we deemed as being "Stella," but like we said, an overload of annoying lingerie desires came about.
