Ann Demeulemeester: Ann didn't seem very "Ann" to us - which we blame on the feathers shown above. But, we will say that her drastic contrast between black and every other color designers didn't use this season red was strikingly approachable. Though, once dissected and sans styling expertise, will we still be in love with the bevy?
Junya Watanabe: Ridiculous hair set the pace at Junya Watanabe. Everything was chic military and green, but Junya differentiated from the rest though lengths and annoying technical detailing (that we actually liked). There was an extreme lack of femininity all around, but it served to intrigue us.
Sonia Rykiel: Cutesy and fun may be what Sonia is all about, but we were more attracted to everything oversized. And, if you weren't a fan of oversized-anything prior to the show, you will be now. Not such a bad thing anymore, no? Red became our color of choice, as did anything and everything we can stick in our hair - no matter how abnormal.
Viktor & Rolf: Though we won't give Viktor & Rolf too much credit for their bustier rendition of jumpsuits (and everything else black, grey, fur and oh, outrageous) we are proud of their ability to capture the attention of fashion-goers through their presentations. The duo decided to visibly dress the models onstage before sending them down the catwalk - which made everything worthwhile, besides the stellar aviators shown above.
