Can makeup be fierce? We’ll know the answer to that age old question come this summer. Season four Project Runway winner Christian Siriano just inked a deal with Victoria’s Secret Beauty to launch a limited collection. Siriano’s collection is expected to be slightly pricier than the main VS collection; it will include five different shades of eye shadow, black eyeliner, three lip gloss shades, a bronzer-highlighter trio, a face brush, and a ruffled cosmetics bag. Siriano’s items will be packaged in gold compacts with the Christian Siriano for VS Makeup logo engraved on top.

Now I know your wondering ‘how will his make up differ from the competitions?’ and to be honest I have no clue. Besides the packaging, Siriano’s collection seems to contrast the man himself, known for his fierceness and his over the top persona his makeup does not seem to make the grade. Will you take his makeup collection seriously or just think his 15 minutes of fame is long and gone? He needs to get a grip on reality, just because you worked with makeup artists during fashion week does not make you qualified to have your own line. It’s like Kate Moss and her Jewish cookbook, just because she eats matzah balls does not mean she should write a book on how to cook them. Who does she think she is - Rachel Ray?
