While you can venture everywhere from Barney's to Target to the corner store to get yourself some scented wax, there is one brand that blows all competition...well, out. Kobo soy candles come in a multitude of unique scents, making it so there truly is something for everyone (although we were hard pressed to find a single scent we weren't in love with). Because the candles are made of pure soy wax, they burn longer than the same size standard wax candle. Another bonus? The soy wax used by Kobo is 100% domestically made and organic, creating a clean burn and a strong scent. Seriously, one large candle can work for an entire living room!

Kobo was created by Junko Kobori in 2006 when she realized while looking at pictures of her travels that she could actually still smell the places she had been. To Kobori, scent was one of the strongest aspects of her memories. She had an epiphany and set out to create a line of candles for the home with scents that would be just as memorable for her family and their guests. We have to say, she has achieved her mission tenfold.

We love all of the original scent combinations so much, it's hard to choose just one favorite. Moon Wisteria, Portugese Olive Blossom, Water Mint, and Orange Amber are all stand outs. There is a scent for every mood one may want to convey in their home. If we absolutely had to choose just one, it'd be the Fresh Currant because of it's versatility as a smell: we move it from bedroom to bathroom to living room to balcony and it suits each one just perfectly.
