The Charles Jourdan brand began in Paris nearly 100 years ago by Mr. Charles Jourdan himself. Shortly thereafter, Charles Jourdan creations had made their way onto the feet, and into the closets of society elite. In 1959, the Charles Jourdan brand became the exclusive footwear manufacturer and distributor for the Christian Dior fashion house and also proved to be a trailblazer for modern-day brand advertising.
The couture footwear label was one of first to implement heavily branded and eye-catching advertising in the 1960's, a strategy which is now standard operating procedure for the industry 50 years later.
Today the Charles Jourdan label is just as chic, glamorous and fashion-forward as ever, as evidenced by their reaching out to the reality TV powerhouse, known for her penchant for fabulous heels of skyscraper proportions.
