Bein’s “The Touch of Spain” pop-up shop has arrived in New York just in time for fashion week.  This is the shops third year in running and this year it will feature unique projects from all over Spain that tailor to the Urban stylite as well as the Flamenco enthusiast.

Stop by the exquisite Roger Smith Hotel to see the beautifully constructed clothing, jewelry, and shoes, by young emerging Spanish designers, focused merging fashion with sustainability. Such notable lines include, Ecoology, 94 West Street, Beatriz Penalver and Lebluu.  While there, you will also have the oppurtunity to speak the designers themselves, who have all journeyed to New York to present their collections.

Joonbug stopped by last night and we were lucky enough to meet Sonia Olla, the creator of Taller de Artistas.  A professional dancer who grew up in a quiet village outside of Barcelona, she was inspired to enter fashion after years of watching her mother and neighbors create dance costumes for her.  The flamenco influence is evident when looking at her collection, which is filled with a stunning array of colors and patterns.

Possibly the best part about this pop-up shop is that you are encouraged to try on any of the clothes and the lovely team from Bein will take your photo to put up on their wall.
You can even instagram the picture for a chance to win a trip to Spain!

The pop-up shop will be running through September 28 and there is an exciting activity happening each and every day! Do not miss out.
