Slim fitting through the hip and thigh; this low rise pair flares at the calf into a classic boot cut. The slender fit above the knee that gives way to a gradually wider cut elongates your silhouette and, paired with the dark indigo wash, flatters almost all body types. Flap pockets on the rear are especially accentuating for those of us with ‘less junk in the trunk’. Simple and clean, these jeans are all about value. For under $70, you pretty much can’t go wrong.
Gap 1969 Mid-weight Flap-pocket Skinny Boot Jeans in Mojave; $69.95

Paige Adams-Geller has been a pretty well kept secret, but now the word is getting out. This highly sought after fit model morphed her career into a very intuitive denim designer, debuting her first line in 2005. Her ‘behind-the-seams’ insight to the industry has allowed her to create perfect fitting jeans for women. That said; this super-slim pair is made with super-stretch fabric for extreme comfort all day long. In Scarlett, they are the perfect true fall red.
Paige Premium Denim ‘Verdugo Ultra Skinny’ in Scarlett; $179

It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Marc. He’s given exactly what we want once again with a great pair of on-trend seventies inspired pair. With a high waist and exaggerated cuff, this pair is the real deal. Flattering and with just the right amount of stretch to ensure a perfect fit all day, these jeans are begging for a cozy fall sweater and platform clogs.
Marc by Marc Jacobs ‘70s Flare’ in San Francisco Wash; $228

With "Tighter Tummy Technology" these jeans will make you stand tall and strut your stuff comfortably. Using body scan technology, Lane Bryant figured that the most prominent female silhouette is "curvy, with a bit of waist suppression." Behold, the T3 jean, featuring a nylon-spandex mesh insert that flattens your stomach, a two-inch elastic strip that prevents loose waistbands, and a blend of cotton, polyester, and spandex that lets you stretch and move in your jeans. We love Lane Bryant for making curves sexy! Their competitive price makes them even more desirable.
Lane Bryant T3 Denim; starting at $59.95

These jeans are hot. There is no getting around it. Since the debut for fall, everyone wants to get on the action. The mid-weight denim is made in USA with a cotton/elastane blend for that bit of stretch we all crave. The wash is a faded camel leopard print so they already have that nostalgic look of your favorite broken in pair. These are perfect to pair with a casual comfy tee shirt, fur vest, and booties for chic fall style.
Current/Elliot ‘The Stiletto’ in Camel Leopard; $198

We love these classic Jodhpur’s by J Brand. A modern update on the traditional riding pant, the luxurious twill features a velvet panel in the inseam above the knee. Again, a skinny fit, but we have to face reality, skinny jeans are not going anywhere. Velvet trim at the front and rear slit pockets and zippers at the ankle are great details that spice up this pair. We love the colors too. In Black, Congo, Sharkskin, and Wine you have plenty of rich options to enhance your fall wardrobe. Pair with a blazer and boots for prep school chic.
J Brand ‘9788 Jodhpur’ in Wine; $227

Best Classic Blue: Mother The Runaway Skinny Flare Jean
A slightly subtler retro silhouette, these jeans are great for everyday wear. The normal fit and boot cut are made for boots or wedges and have an elongating effect when paired with the perfect height heel. It’s easy to look sloppy wearing boot cut jeans when you have a shorter frame, so be sure to hem accordingly. Outfitted with tradition five-pocket detail and rich indigo wash, we can’t find a more classic pair. They do remind of us of the beautiful Penny Lane from Almost Famous, so take inspiration and wear them with a whimsical floral blouse and layer with a contrasting print or leather vest.
Mother ‘The Runaway’ Blue Skinny Flare Jean; $245
