Tuesday, Tommy Ton of Jak and Jill tweeted something that raised quite a few curious eyebrows:

"I received some news tonight that is going to SHAKE the fashion world in the next two days. CRAZY!!!!"

Now, if one were as smart and saavy as we are, they'd note that Tommy Ton has a weird and twisted tie to the Vogue Paris team (via streetstyle encounters). And, with Carine's public scandal with Balanciaga - after being blacklisted from the Fall 2010 show - people are beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

It's all over the internet these days, as Paris Fashion Week came to an end Wednesday. But we've taken a few tips here and there regarding the speculation on both what happened between the two parties, and what's to come:

Balenciaga hasn't placed an ad in Vogue Paris magazine since October of 2009.

Balenciaga designer, Nicolas Ghesquiere, is BFF's with the Balenciaga stylist and former stylist of Vogue Paris, Marie Amelie Sauvé - who ultimately was fired from the publication.

Balenciaga loaned a sample to Carine Roitfeld, who then loaned it to a brand she consulted for - MaxMara. MaxMara then reproduced an strikingly similar version of the coat.

Nicolas Ghesquiere and Carine Roitfeld began dating early last year, right before Ghesquiere admitted to a one-night scandal with Carine's publication sidekick, Emmanuelle Alt.

Okay, we lied about that last speculation - but, it makes a good story, no? Though the remaining points are indeed factual, things are still a bit sketchy - and actually making quite a few insiders nervous of what's to come. It's said that Nicolas Ghesquiere and his BFF, Marie Amelie Sauvé, actually HATE the Vogue Paris team. With so much power and action shown this season behind the word 'hate,' it seems as if the fashion industry may turn into the cattiest empire built of emotions. It's funny how Anna Wintour knows when to stay out of certain controversies, no?
