A disgruntled patron who had just been kicked out of the troubled Pit Lounge in the Bronx, shot and killed 26-year-old bouncer and father of 2, Terrance Drayton yesterday around 6am. According to the The Post, The bullet was meant for another bouncer who had just booted the unruly patron but the bullet instead came the window and hit Drayton. A witness told The Post, Terrance “was just standing by the doorway, and, boom, it happened. The shot came through the window — it was meant for the other [bouncer].”

Another witness who rushed to help described the scene, “I was holding my hand on him to stop the bleeding. Two women performed CPR. He was gurgling. He couldn’t talk,” the witness continued. “We were telling him to hold on.”

Drayton was rushed to the hospital but later pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.

The building is owned by retired NYPD Detective, Elliot Parisi, who commented, “I’m very saddened by what happened to this young man. Especially during the holidays and [knowing] that he has children and a family.” Adding, “The days for this club are over."

The Pit Lounge has a history of fights and violence, and is patronized by a "rough crowd." “There’s violence there all the time,” said Lucy Srancois, a resident. “There’s always fighting and gunshots."

NYPD has still not apprehended the gunman.
