Michael Lin, a 27-year-old welder from Queens, was found outside midtown club District 36 on Saturday with all his teeth knocked out. Patrons and waitresses outside the venue said the man was brought outside around 3 a.m by staff, bleeding profusely from the mouth after being found slumped over on the stairs. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after.

Mixed accounts are being reported by various media outlets. According to the Post,  he fell down a flight of stairs, while Metro is reporting he fell from a faulty balcony.  Investigators said no criminal activity was apparent on surveillance cameras, though they are still investigating whether foul play was involved. Medical examiners said his injuries are consistent with a fall and are also performing toxicology tests to help determine the cause of death.
