Looking into another person’s life can sometimes be intoxicating. Especially when that person has boundless heaps of money, a gorgeous home, exciting social life, and do we even have to mention immaculate abs? Regardless of whether its right or wrong, we all secretly indulge vicariously on the delights (and disasters) of celebrity status. And here for you, is a look into the decadent sanctuaries of some of the hottest stars in NYC.

This piece of Entourage perfection chose a classic tri-level brownstone in Brooklyn, to call home. You can find this charming arched brownstone, and him, in the cute neighborhood of Clinton Hill, where Grenier has set up a (relatively) self-sustainable rooftop garden over his guest retreat. Lucky for us, he’s planning to stay a while and work on his new eco-advocate website SHFT.com.

Residing on Charles St. is NYC’s most striking black swan. You guessed it, Miss Natalie Portman herself lives in a stunning all white apartment, complete with light tufted furniture, white and blue walls (some with damask), and lovely crystal chandeliers. A quirky watch displayed on an easel sits in her living room for a touch of character. Some bad news for her fans, she’s been trying to sell the apartment.

Our favorite Silver Fox has recently purchased a piece of Greenwich Village history, the 1906 Fire Patrol No.2 for a little over 4 million. Renovating this gorgeous, yet quirky, new home, is renowned architect Cary Tamarkin who is almost finished. The terracotta brick archway will be kept but the distinct red paint, and brass poles will be stripped and redone in wood, granite, and stone. Sounds like all the tools for a killer bachelor pad.

Former resident of 15 Central Park West (also former neighbor of Denzel Washington and Sting), this Yankees hunk now resides in the serene mini-paradise of The Rushmore, located on Riverside and 64th. For about 5.5-6 million, he now has a five-bedroom penthouse overlooking the dazzling Hudson River.

There isn’t a girl out there who wouldn’t give her right arm to be snuggled next to the smooth-crooning John Mayer, in this mod-tastic man cave. The living room is white with mahogany accents, and random pops of navy, while the bedroom is deliciously warm with sand walls, and a sleek black platform bed (blue accents and branches give this a relaxed atmosphere). Mayer’s love for clean lines and modern décor makes his space feel calm and collected.

Although John Legend put this Scarano-on-the-Bowery beauty on the market, about a month ago, you can still find him residing in the East Village.. And with its surprisingly shabby chic meets modern vibe, we can’t help but wonder why he’d want to give up this stunning apartment. A perfect blend of masculine and feminine, Legends home gives a warm, balanced atmosphere, (perfect for inspiring gorgeous R&B singers).
