Victor Walker, 47, an ex-con, turned himself into authorities on Saturday after confessing he was the gunman responsible for the November shootings at Juliet Supperclub. But this wasn't just any random shooting or any random victims. Walker said he did it "to send a message."  The victim, Artis Arthur, 43, and his cronies Tracy Ryals, 28, and Jonai Washington, 27, were part of a crew that, according to authorities, had built a reputation for targeting and mugging club-goers. The entourage mostly targeted celebrities, athletes, rappers and other "high-profile victims reluctant to go to the police because of the hassle and publicity" said authorities. Their victims reportedly include Busta Rhymes and Cam'ron

Last November Artis Arthur and his crew were prowling Juliet during another jam-packed evening with over 300 club-goers that included Giants' Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Aaron Ross, Antrel Rolle and Chris Canty, singer Estelle, and several other professional athletes, when gunfire rang out. By the time the smoke cleared, Arthur was dead, Ryals was paralyzed and Washington was injured.

This marked the beginning of the end for Juliet. Just two months prior Christopher Adames, 23, was stabbed to death and the "Supperclub" was getting heat for not really being a "Supperclub." In reality it was just a regular "club" that they didn't have permits for. Shortly after the shootings the owner of the building went to court to get Juliet evicted citing breach of lease terms. They succeeded and Juliet was officially booted in March 2012.
