Wednesdays is International Beer night. Meaning any beer that isn’t made in the US is 50% off. A $6 Stella or Duvel is only $3! Can’t beat that.

Hoboken rolled out the red carpet last night for the grand opening of the new Village Pourhouse. This massive sportsbar has about a billion TVs, a gigantic circle bar and another corner bar, a kitchen that's open til 1am and 2 VIP lounges. Tables are a bit sparce but if you can snag one, you'll also get served by their super hot waitstaff.
The event last night treated its guests right, with open bar provided by Coors Light, Vision Vodka, Jim Beam, and Sauza. Samplings of their awesome selections of tap beers and appetizers help sell all the guests, and although I didn't spy any of the Real Housewives, I was able to see American Idol finalist Antonella Barba perform her hit "Jersey Girl," and get serenaded with "You Make Me Feel So Young" by the Frank Sinatra impersonator. All in all, a great event, a great bar, and Hoboken is only a short, 15 minute PATH ride from NYC, so I'll be back for sure!
