Co-owner and musician Andrew W.K got it right and did it well when he opened Santos Party House in 2008. Andrew’s focus was only on one idea: for people of all dances to play in his party house. Open every night of the week, Santos will surely have you trekking back to that infamous corner at least once (or twice) a week. Hipsters, funkers, beat-rockers, suits, dresses, skinnies and mini’s—all are welcome. The crowd here is more interested on their dance moves than fighting for the bartenders attention to get a drink. Santos is like going on a blind date: You have an idea of what the place is like, the music that it spins, the personality it holds, and you’ll most definitely wake up the next morning filled with hilarious regrets and a pocket full of new moves.

Santos separates itself from the rest of the exclusive, uptight, and bottle-service clubs in New York City by not discriminating its patrons. Late night party shakers of all styles, ethnicity, status, occupation and intoxication levels line up and enter the bi-level 8,000 square foot ex- factory to enjoy a night of dancing and partying. Santos boasts one of the best sound systems with 16 towering speakers exploding 150,000 watts of beats into the music factory.

With so many perks and good times at this Chinatown club, why wouldn’t the celebrities pop in and jam out? Queens native Q-Tip (A Tribe Called Quest) formed a unique fan base when he decided to spin a couple sets at Santos every Friday night. A-list stars such as Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have also been spotted bumpin` to Santos’ eclectic tunes. After party after the after party? Jay-Z and Eminem rolled in post-concert and hosted a massive party for their crew, producers and of course, fans. Electronic DJs such as Afrojack, Tony Touch, and Moby have all laid down their tracks and set the party house on fire with their unstoppable beats. Whether or not a celebrity is present, if you’re at Santos, you know you’re having a good time.

Tristan Garner is following in the footsteps of French luminaries Daft Punk and Justice, but he doesn't stop there. Playing a classically French style of electro house, which by definition is a bit funkier and supersaturated than the stuff coming out of other places, Garner has gained quite a following in his native country and abroad. If his name isn't ringing a bell for some of you, I'm almost positive that you would recognize some of his songs, as they are played by some of the top DJs in the world. His hits include "Give Love," "Overdrive," and an underground hit "Fuckin Down." Here are a few samples to jog your memory:
How does an artist become well-known? How do they break into a scene that is primarily made up of superstars? Well, in Tim Mason's case, you just have to get those superstars to dig what you're doing! The UK based producer/DJ extraordinaire has certainly hit the ground running this year. With the support of artists like Tiesto, David Guetta and Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia, Mason has taken the EDM world by storm... and with authority.
Signing to Angello's label, Size Records, Mason has released two singles, "Anima" and "The Moment." Both were incredibly well received and can be heard in clubs all over the world, spun by some of the biggest DJ's on this side of anywhere. What Mason lacks in his amount of original tracks (soon to change), he more than makes up for with a slew of stellar remixes, ranging from the likes of Moby's "After," to RHCP's "Otherside."

Well, in your fists, actually, since you will be fist-pumping the night away to this house music extravaganza.
Brought to you by the partymakers themselves - Corona Light - the Electric Beach series kicks of this Saturday, September 24th, at downtown dance hotspot Santos Party House, a legendary gem hidden in the depths of Chinatown. You may have heard of Santos Party House before; the nearly impenetrable velvet rope, the simple yet chic (regal white columns with a red brick interior) décor. Luckily for us, Santos Party House has opened the proverbial gate, allowing entrance to all music enthusiats who hear hear a house beat and can't help but dance.
Jay-Z and Eminem will be performing at Yankee Stadium. But, don't feel like you have to go all the way up to the Bronx to make a vain attempt to get into the stadium. Santos Party House will be hosting an afterparty for both artists following the game. New York's hottest DJs will be spinning when the doors open at 11:00.
J esse Marco and DJ Ronson among many others will be spinning at Santos Party House tonight for a tribute evening for DJ AM. Proceeds will go to the DJ AM memorial fund. Doors open at 11.
