This weekend in Atlantic City you may need a seatbelt, as gravity will not exist.  A culinary junkie will be in heaven at the Annual Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival running from July 26^th through the 29^th.  Casinos, theaters and the sandy beach are just the beginning as the festival offers a long list of events from which all are welcome to choose.

Caesar’s Entertainment Atlantic City hosts the festival narrowing venues down to Caesar’s, Harrah’s, Showboat and Bally.  Each destination will offer cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, wine seminars, dinners and more with some of the culinary world’s most familiar faces to present.  This years roster includes Paula Deen, Tyler Florence, Nadia G. and Buddy Valastro just to name a few. 

You can start your weekend at the Harrah’s Poolside Launch Party.  The 21 and over event is $55 a ticket and offers plenty of food and wine sampling along with celebrity chef sightings.  Events range from “Tacos and Tequilla” presented by Dos Caminos to The Blind Leading the Blind: The Ultimate Mystery Wine Tasting to The Gospel Brunch with Paula Deen.  There are 40 events in total, and you can’t attend them all so choose wisely.

Born in 2007, this festival was once a small and intimate 2-day gathering for hard core culinary enthusiasts.  Quickly growing over the next couple of years into a 20,000 guest event, the festival partnered with The Food Network giving the public access to events hosted by thier favorite chefs.
