Tiësto's Birthday Celebration Tonight at LAVO

Noah Tepperberg & Jason Strauss host Tiesto's 43rd birthday celebration tonight at LAVO! We know, 43 years, we can't believe it either. This is set to be one of the biggest, most exclusive parties of the year, requiring "red carpet approval" to even buy a ticket. Tiësto was born Tijs Michiel Verwest in Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands on January 17, 1969. He started DJing at the age of 14 at local school parties. In 1985 through 1994 he was a resident DJ at several clubs in the Netherlands. He played weekend sets from 10pm-4am at a small nightclub called The Spock in Breda, where he was really able to settle into a style of his own.

LMFAO's DJ Redfoo Rocks the Party at Lavo

Crowds of people surrounded New York’s most exclusive nightclub as word got out that DJ Redfoo from the electric rap duo, LMFAO, was in the building. Walking into Lavo, it was clear that everyone came to party rock with their multi-color glow necklaces, bling’d out nerd glasses and fluorescent tanks.

As soon as DJ Redfoo, DJ Air and the Party Rock Crew hit the stage, the energy in the club went through the roof. Clubbers rushed to the dance floor while others stood on their seats and pumped their fists in the air.

Calvin Harris to Lavish Lavo

Tomorrow is Thursday and you know what the means. A preordained chain of events. Work will lead to happy hour. Which will lead to you being, well, happy. And happiness will lead you to Lavo's luscious 1 pound meatball (stuffed with fresh ricotta). Whereupon you will suck in your gut, slap on your nightshades, and continue the party with New York City's most beautiful people (sans meatball bellies).

Only this time, Calvin Harris, acclaimed international DJ and producer will be bringing the beats to the dance floor. Calvin has rocked the clubs and charts since 2007 with his gold debut Album Rocking the clubs and 'I Created Disco.' Collaborating with the likes of Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Groove Armada, Katy Perry and Kelis, Calvin Harris has a reputation that he will undoubtedly live up to tomorrow. (Which leads to you only needing to worry about your reputation.)

Calvin's highly anticipated 3rd artist album will be released soon. You can also check out Calvin Harris at Electric Zoo's main stage Sunday, September 4th.
