If you don't have plans tonight (actually, even if you do, we're pretty sure Tiesto at LAVO is better than any current plans you might have), you need to get out to LAVO tonight for the legendary Tiesto. The world renowned DJ is fresh off all the rage of Miami Music Week and ready for another rager.
To top it off, the evening will also feature Steve Powers. Sold yet? Good.
Call 212-584-2700 or email info@lavogroup.com for more info.
Noah Tepperberg & Jason Strauss host Tiesto's 43rd birthday celebration tonight at LAVO! We know, 43 years, we can't believe it either. This is set to be one of the biggest, most exclusive parties of the year, requiring "red carpet approval" to even buy a ticket. Tiësto was born Tijs Michiel Verwest in Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands on January 17, 1969. He started DJing at the age of 14 at local school parties. In 1985 through 1994 he was a resident DJ at several clubs in the Netherlands. He played weekend sets from 10pm-4am at a small nightclub called The Spock in Breda, where he was really able to settle into a style of his own.

12th Annual Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square
After taking advantage of all the Cyber Monday deals, why not head uptown for some festive family fun, at this year’s Winter’s Eve, hosted by the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District. After the 5:30 tree-lighting ceremony (Broadway and 63rd), you can mosey over to Lincoln Square to partake in the kid-friendly activities, food tastings, and live entertainment. And what more could you ask of this mini-holiday festival? Free admission, of course. And with the money you save attending, you can spend on the awesome boutiques dispersed throughout Lincoln Square.
Andre Tanneberger, better known as ATB, is one of Germany's brightest stars within the electronic dance realm. Having taken his layered, moving sound all over the world, ATB will land at NYC's LAVO for the first time ever this Thursday, Nov 10th.
Armed with his newly released 8th album Distant Earth, expect an eclectic mix of his newer, refined tracks and classics such as "9pm (Till I Come)," which helped put ATB on the map by being the first trance track to hit #1 on the charts. His unique, emotional mix of electronic beats, live instruments, and lush harmonies has garnered him worldwide recognition, having recently being voted #1 DJ in the world by The DJ List.
Will you come be a part of the experience this Thursday? Check out lavony.com for more info.
Crowds of people surrounded New York’s most exclusive nightclub as word got out that DJ Redfoo from the electric rap duo, LMFAO, was in the building. Walking into Lavo, it was clear that everyone came to party rock with their multi-color glow necklaces, bling’d out nerd glasses and fluorescent tanks.
As soon as DJ Redfoo, DJ Air and the Party Rock Crew hit the stage, the energy in the club went through the roof. Clubbers rushed to the dance floor while others stood on their seats and pumped their fists in the air.Tomorrow is Thursday and you know what the means. A preordained chain of events. Work will lead to happy hour. Which will lead to you being, well, happy. And happiness will lead you to Lavo's luscious 1 pound meatball (stuffed with fresh ricotta). Whereupon you will suck in your gut, slap on your nightshades, and continue the party with New York City's most beautiful people (sans meatball bellies).
Only this time, Calvin Harris, acclaimed international DJ and producer will be bringing the beats to the dance floor. Calvin has rocked the clubs and charts since 2007 with his gold debut Album Rocking the clubs and 'I Created Disco.' Collaborating with the likes of Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Groove Armada, Katy Perry and Kelis, Calvin Harris has a reputation that he will undoubtedly live up to tomorrow. (Which leads to you only needing to worry about your reputation.)
Calvin's highly anticipated 3rd artist album will be released soon. You can also check out Calvin Harris at Electric Zoo's main stage Sunday, September 4th.
Lance Bass, Tinsley Mortimer, Olivia Palmero, Kelly Bensimon, Julie Henderson, Russel Simmons, Ciara, Swizz Beats, and Nicky Hilton were among the red carpet guests at the grand opening of Lavo on The Upper East Side. And, it's complete with a dance floor. What could be better? It seems that New York nightlife has a new superstar straight out of the Vegas desert.
