Scene
The Hudson Hotel offers more than you can imagine. It’s not just a swanky hotel steps away from Central park, Columbus Circle and the theatre district, it’s also a bar, a library and a hall. The Hudson Hall offers casual and stylish drinking with a playful interior reminiscent of an Ivy League mess hall. Long wooden communal tables uniformly contrast the red brick walls. On the other hand, the Hudson Bar is one of New York’s hottest nightspots from the moment it opened.
Eats & Drinks
The Hudson Hall offers a new age American dining experience. With a traditional menu, the restaurant is self-serve and delivers mouth-watering dishes that's easy to share and split.
Ambience
It is a dazzling venue decorated in a riotous collection of styles. It features a glass floor lit from beneath, a hand painted ceiling by world-renowned artists and furniture design that looks like Louis XV meets 2001. It is the perfect place for drinks, lively conversation, people-watching, and experiencing the undeniable excitement of New York City. The Library on a similar note is reminiscent of an Old English club or drawing room. It is the perfect hangout for a cozy and somewhat intimate night. Guests can relax by the enormous fire place and snuggle their drink. It is a chic alternative to the drunken debauchery of New York City. With an air of exclusivity, you’ll saunter your way through this dazzling venue!

Good luck getting into Good Units on a party night. Instead sneak around to the right of reception and out into the hotel's garden for sangrias.

Come dance, little sister, dance with a motley cast of muppets, models, and musicians..." while Ash Fox captures the night in pictures.

THE VELVET ROPE
The Velvet Rope: Sal Imposimato

Salvatore Imposimato has transformed nightlife in New York, Miami and Los Angeles over the past 17 years of his career. Explaining that the 90's saw a cultural melding of club style and age mixing celebrity with the wannabe, Sal explains that the new era of nightlife is one of segregation and exclusion, generating a list of clubs where specific looks are the basis for entry or refusal at the velvet rope. As the gatekeeper for the nation's most exclusive nightclubs, Sal now serves as Regional Director of Nightlife and Promotions for all Morgans Hotel Group properties in New York City.
