Behind its shockingly bright red façade is a traditional Irish joint with a cozy interior of wood paneled walls, antique lanterns, a long wooden bar, plenty of seating, six flat screens, and a huge projection screen at the end of the bar to keep your attention while the game is on. Murphy’s is famous for its “Recession Buster” lunch special—a burger, wrap, or sandwich and your choice of a pint of Bud or Yuengling—all for only $10 bucks. And as if that isn’t sweet enough, happy hour starts as soon as the bar opens: 10 am.
