Hotel Gansevoort

Head over to the brick laden roads of the Meatpacking district to seek out the Gansevoort Hotel. When you arrive, be sure to either step out of a Ferrari or have a bouquet of gorgeous ladies at your side.

For a couple of kids from Queens, this place is the epitome of 'making it'. From the grand wait on line, to the mind blowing entrance (conveniently located in the hotel lobby). It's hard not to be wowed by all the gorgeous women decorating the foyer- and when you enter in the elevator, an obvious regular will chuckle and tell you, 'Wait til you get upstairs...' And was he right!

Model Latina NYC Takes Over The Gansevoort

Last night on the Gansevoort Hotel rooftop, 15 beautiful Latina models gathered for the party celebrating the premiere of their new reality show on SiTV, Model Latina NYC. The most delicious vodka lemonade was served as the family and friends of all the models anxiously awaited their arrival. Applause was heard all around when they finally walked in the door and “Empire State of Mind” blasted through the speakers.

In speaking to the models last night, they all shared the same feelings of pride, but extreme gratitude for being able to be a part of the experience. Nashlly Sokoli, who calls her self the flower that grows out of the Newark Concrete Jungle explained, “It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I learned and grew so much.” Her fellow contestant, Elora Prez had similar feelings, “it was very overwhelming. It was a different first time experience. It is something you’ll never forget!” Another one of the contestants, Carla Soto spoke about being born in Mexico, and not taking the American dream for granted: “I had to learn a lot to conquer the American dream. Now I’m getting closer to where I want to be. I’m about to move to L.A.!” She also talked about the living situation, “It was a hard competition though. You have the blonde girl, the tan girl, the brown girl…Imagine us all under one roof!"
