Freedom Ladder was founded in 2012 with a mission to stop child sex trafficking by interrupting a culture that sexualizes children and regards the human body as a commodity, and to transform that culture into one that treats all people with honor and respect.

Freedom Ladder uses popular vehicles such education and entertainment, to educate at-risk children about the danger of sex trafficking and empower them to protect themselves and live lives of courage, power, and inspiration.

Freedom Ladder’s latest project is the creation of a new type of comic book, ABOLITIONISTA that’s made up of captivating narratives and catchy artwork that responsibly educates children about the dangers of child sex trafficking and empowers them to protect themselves and their peers.

To further aid Freedom Ladder’s mission, the group is also throwing a Celebrity Fashion show this Friday, October 26th at SEA in NYs Meatpacking District. The holiday fete is set to be hosted by Supermodel, Monica Watkins and singer/songwriter, Pamela Rose Rodriguez from NBC’s hit show, “The Voice.” Also on deck to attend and support the cause are Maxim model, Ashley Michaelsen, actress, Lisa Toth, model, Melissa Alabama Graves and singer/songwriter, Rose Silkey.

Fashions will be presented by Berit New York, Damion Ryura with make-up by internationally renowned stylist, Zarah Arlene. The party for a cause will also feature a costume contest and DJ J Hooks on the ones and twos.

General Admission is $20 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Freedom Ladder.
