Join the Watermill Center for an event supporting young artists from all over the world.

On July 30th join the Watermill Center for Voluptuous Panic: The 18th Annual Watermill Summer Benefit, an event benefiting young artists. Creative minds from the art world--theater, design, fashion and fine art--will produce six acres of installation and performance. The innovative creators are artists from the Watermill International Summer Program which currently hosts participants from over 30 countries.  All proceeds go to the program Summer Program itself to support young artists.

The Watermill Center was founded in 1992 by visual and performance artist Robert Wilson, as a place where young creators to work and learn from each other. It was designed as a place where people would be able to explore new ideas and draw inspiration from their surrounding environment and the people around them. With artists coming from all corners of the world, the Watermill Center aims at integrating every form of art and creative perception, breaking with traditional forms and cultural boundaries.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and it includes silent and live auctions hosted by Simon de Pury.  Works for auction come from distinguished artists such as Marina Abramovic, Yoko Ono, Olivier Mosset, Christian Marclay and many more. Special cocktail drinks will also be available courtesy of Bacardi USA.
