White Roof Project will host a happy hour this week to raise funds for their biggest project yet --40,000 square feet of  model block roof space on East 3rd and 4th Streets at Bowery. The "model block" includes over twenty nonprofit, cooperatively owned low-income housing buildings and art spaces. This crucial roof painting saves up to 40% on energy bills and makes a tremendous difference in combating climate change.
